About this yacht

Onboard the Arcadia Sherpa 60

The Arcadia Sherpa 60 reads differently from most yachts near her length. Arcadia Yachts built the hull around a flat, glazed superstructure, so the saloon and lower deck flood with light through panoramic windows rather than relying on portholes and low ceilings. Solar panels set into the coachroof support onboard systems quietly, in keeping with the builder's approach to efficient, low-noise cruising rather than raw speed, though she still moves comfortably at around 24 knots when the day calls for it.

At 18.7 metres, she suits groups who want space without the scale of a superyacht. Up to 12 guests can be aboard for a day out on the water, with three cabins available for those extending the charter overnight along the coast. The aft deck and cockpit are built for al fresco dining, so a long lunch under shade, with the coastline sliding past at anchor, tends to become the natural centre of the day rather than an afterthought squeezed between stops.

Because the Sherpa 60 sits in the mid-size bracket of the fleet, planning a charter around her is straightforward: guest numbers, cabin use and route length can be matched precisely to what a family or a small group of couples actually wants, and day-rate and fuel guidance is worked out in advance so there are no surprises once you are back at the dock. She works equally well as a single day on European coastal water or as the base for a short, unhurried multi-day run.
